As a child Michael went to church, but it was not until his teenage years that he received Christ as his personal Saviour. After salvation struggle between the world and living a true Christian life took place. The summer of 2000 Michael surrendered his life to serve God and go to bible college. Once attending West Coast Baptist College God begin to work on Michael's heart for world evangelism.
Christine was raised in a family which did not believe the Bible is the word of God. After high school and first year of college Christine began to attend a church and learned about the grace of God. Through the influence of friends Christine attended West Coast Baptist College, and also accepted Christ to be her Saviour. Once Christine received Christ He began to work in her heart for world evangelism also.
Michael and Christine met their junior year at college. They began to date and the love they had for each other grew. Upon Godly counsel they were married in October after graduation.
As Michael and Christine labored in Trona, California their heart for missions grew. In 2009 they had the privilege to take a mission trip to Uganda, in Uganda they learned about the spiritual needs of Rwanda. After traveling back to the United States, through much prayer and counsel they answered God's call to labor in this needy country.
The Campbell's want to quickly complete deputation to begin ministry in Africa. Michael and Christine plan to receive training from veteran missionaries in Uganda. Once they learn the language, adapt to the culture and survey Rwanda they will begin the work of planting churches in Rwanda.
The Campbell's are sent from First Baptist Church in Trona, California. Baptist International Missions, Inc. is serving as the mission board. While on deputation Michael and Christine were blessed to have two children, Judith and Charlotte.
